The Commission for the Rehabilitation and Maintenance of Buildings of Catalonia (RiME) is a joint initiative of the Construction Builders Guild of Barcelona i Comarques and the Chamber of Works Contractors of Catalonia (CCOC) aimed at promoting quality in this specialty of the Construction. RiME started its activities in 2005 and has more than 300 companies affiliated to the Builders Guild and Works of Barcelona and Comarques and/or
the CCOC.
The objectives of the Commission's sessions are:
- Inform and discuss opportunities and challenges in the rehabilitation and reform sector
- Collaborate with the administration and be its interlocutor in everything that affects the rehabilitation.
- Promote the rehabilitation and reform sector through a constructive dialogue between companies, professionals and administration.
- Promote the promotion of subsidies and grants by the administration. Promote simplification and adaptation of conditions.
- Share experiences and recommendations derived from the activity of the participating companies of the Commission.
- Promote market transparency.
- Collaborate with the other agents involved in the construction.
- Promote innovation in products, construction systems and management methods.
- Promote the use of new materials and collaborate with rehabilitation providers.
- Advise on specific rehabilitation technologies.
- Promote adequate training of staff.
- Recover and enhance traditional trades in order to incorporate them into current production processes.
Who can be a part?
Any company affiliated with the Guild of Builders of Works of Barcelona and Comarques and/or the Chamber of Contractors of Works of Catalonia. Being part of the RiME does not entail economic costs.
RiME, a meeting place with sectoral entities and administrations
